1. Who is TREGO REALTY?  We are the biggest little real estate company in Iowa.  We are big because of our "service oriented" approach to business & because we are found everywhere on the world wide web. Trego Realty is a newly opened, "service oriented" company that focuses solely on the client.  Our company was formed because we knew there was a better way of doing business.  Offer world class service, flexible commission rates, and the #1 real estate website in the state of Iowa for Internet marketing and exposure (ranked by www.Point2Agent.com).   Our broker, Derrick Ogert is one of the most respected in the business.  All our Realtors have a passion for service first, Internet marketing and exposure, and communications.  Our #1 goal is your #1 goal!
2. Why should I use Trego Realty instead of the bigger brokerages?  We always encourage you to compare services around town.  Look at the "Big Guys" and what services they offer at 7% commission rate.  Our 7% commission rate runs circles around the services they provide you at 7%.  Our websites are on the top of every search engine whether it's Google, Yahoo, MSN, or BING.  The exposure your property receives is unmatched by any other Realtor or Brokerage.  Selling your house consists of two very important components: pricing and marketing.  We are the only company in town offering a highest priced analysis for your home.  Put that together with our world class marketing plans and you are well on your way to SOLD!  Our company is small and we like it that way.  We can focus more on providing world class service and attention to our clients that simply don't exist with larger companies.
3. Why do you offer services for FSBOs? (For Sale By Owners)  Because that's who we are.  We are service oriented professionals.  I'm a former elementary school teacher and providing service and educating every customer that comes to my website is important to me.  Most For Sale By Owners will offer a 3% commission to an agent who brings a buyer to the listing.  For another 2%, we can professionally list and market their home to sell quicker and for more of the asking price.  We take care of every detail, so you don't have to worry about a thing.  We list, market, and sell For Sale By Owner listings faster and for more of the asking price because we market these homes to the absolute extreme.  WE WILL NOT BE OUTDONE IN OUR MARKETING EFFORTS, PERIOD!
4. What services above and beyond do you offer buyers and sellers?  For buyers and sellers, we offer 90% more downloadable reports, articles, and checklists to assist buyers and sellers through every phase of the process.  No other real estate website comes close to offering this educational outlook on real estate. Trego Realty prides itself on educating the consumer so they can make important decisions about Cedar Rapids real estate.  Take advantage of our Buyer's Info & Downloads/Seller's Info & Downloads tabs off of our home page.  For sellers, our services are unmatched by any other Realtor/Brokerage in town.  We have page one exposure on Google for "Cedar Rapids Real Estate," 36 full color, high res, wide angle photographs, virtual tours and video tours for all properties big or small, and exposure to more affiliate websites than any other real estate company in town.  More exposure means your house sells quicker and for more of the asking price.  We offer more value for your dollar as you can clearly see!
5. I am currently listed with another Realtor/Brokerage in town but am not happy with the service I am receiving.  Can I list my home with Trego Realty?  First of all, you must have a discussion with your current listing agent/broker and decide whether or not you want to continue a relationship with that brokerage.  If after having a discussion, you decide to part ways, you can decide to terminate the listing contract agreement you currently have.  After you are signed off on that, you may have discussions with any other Realtors/Brokerages.   We would be honored to sit down with you and discuss this very important transaction with you and your family. 
6. I haven't seen your company advertise very much on billboards, newspapers, and homes magazines.  Didn't you mention before that marketing was one of your companies strengths?  Great question, and yes, we did mention that marketing was king with Trego Realty.  In marketing ones services, you want to reach the most potential buyers, sellers, lenders, For Sale By Owners, etc. that you can right?  The NAR (National Association of Realtor) statistics say that over 80% of consumers begin their search for Cedar Rapids real estate on the Internet.  That's where we spend all of our money, our time, and our efforts.  We would rather do one thing great (Internet) than four or five things good (Homes magazines, newspapers, etc.). 
7. I am planning on buying within the next six months but don't know how much I can afford or what my credit score is.  How do I begin this process?  At Trego Realty, we only work with preferred lenders who can absolutely guarantee the lowest interest rates on mortgage loans.  We set up the appointments with these lenders so you don't have to.  The consultation with you is absolutely free and starts you on the road to owning your own home and realizing your dreams!  If there are some "blips" on your financial radar screen, our counselors will put you on a financial diet so you can eliminate those problem areas, clean up your credit scores, and sail through the loan process.
8. On your website's home page, you ask for name, phone, and email address when registering to receive Cedar Rapids real estate listings.  Why ask for all the personal information!  I can just go to one of those "sponsored links" when I type in Cedar Rapids Real Estate and get these listings for free. This questions is very easy to answer.  I work for the customers who visits my website.  When you visit my website, you can get a pretty good "snapshot" of who I am from my About Me and Testimonials tabs.  It's only fair to ask for your name and contact information so that I can provide the world class service that you deserve.  I encourage you to find another website that provides as many services for free that I do.  You won't find them!  90% of my business comes from customers who visit my website and decide to "take a chance" and work with me.  They have not been disappointed and neither will you.  BTW, you will still have to register to view listings on the "sponsored links" websites as well.  Don't be fooled.
9. Your website's slogan is "Success in real estate at the service of others."  What does this mean?  Trego Realty has adopted a "servant leadership" philosophy from it's inception in October of 2009.  This means that we place your needs ahead of ours.  We anticipate your questions and already have them waiting for you when you ask.  We answer your questions quickly and thoroughly and always explain the buying or selling process with a deep emphasis on education.  A few of our Realtors are former elementary school teachers and we feel strongly that education should be a hallmark of our real estate company.
10. I've heard that real estate blogs are the "wave" of the future for real estate marketing.  Does Trego Realty adhere to this philosophy?  We had the very 1st real estate blog in Cedar Rapids over three years ago and continue to market every one of our listings through our many real estate blogs both local and national.  Real estate blogs spread your listings highlights "virally" throughout the world wide web.  Hundreds of customers read my blogs every week.  Imagine having your listing's photographs, descriptions, and seller comments spread virally through the Internet marketing your home easily and effortlessly.  Our homes sell for on average 98.5% of the asking price.  That's higher than the national and local average because of our efforts in marketing.
