Sellers Take Note. Buyers Want Your House Even if it's Not For Sale!
Scenario #1:
Have you ever drove by a nice neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon. Your just window shopping for neighborhoods, curb appeal, and houses you like and dislike. All of a sudden, your wife pulls your right arm out of its socket and exclaims, "That's it!" When your heart rate returns to normal, you turn around to see the home your wife has picked out for you. Ah yes, if only that house were for sale and our home was about to be sold, we could be moving into the house of our dreams.
Scenario #2:
You've been in your home now for a couple of years trying to settle in, but something doesn't feel quite right. The "home of your dreams" has not lived up to it's highly anticipated claims upon the initial move-in phase or what Realtor's call, "the Honeymoon Phase." You've been casually checking www.ChristopherSmithRealtor.com because you know that Christopher Smith will "secretly" send you new and updated listings of what you are looking for, so that your significant other will not know, until you're ready to share this information. So, your at the dinner table one night and you say to your spouse, "Boy, if we found a buyer that would just move into our home, then we could actively search for a home that more specifically fits our changing needs."
Well sellers take note, buyers want your house even if it's not for sale! That's right. Buyer searches for homes start six to nine months out from actually purchasing a home. If buyers could just find a website that they could provide their specific search criteria for a home, maybe, just maybe a seller would be able to match up with a buyer.
