Who is Cedar Rapid's Realtor Christopher Smith?

When I started in real estate over two years ago, I was thinking about a niche that would separate me from everyone else and help me stand out amongst the 796 Realtors in the Cedar Rapids area.  Then I found it!  I realized that although almost every Realtor had a website, none had a real "web presence."  In other words, there website was static and only provided information.  It didn't offer quick downloadable reports to assist buyers and sellers, or instant MLS (Multiple Listings Search) search features to obtain the very latest listings, etc.  So, over the course of the last year, I have worked tirelessly on designing a website that would be the most comprehensive of it's kind for Cedar Rapids Real Estate.  One that would educate every seller and buyer on the "process." and spell out exactly what are my services. So with that said, my website: www.ChristopherSmithRealtor.com was born.  But that's not all,  I am much more than the sum of all my Internet parts.  Here are some bullet points you need to know about before you contact me:

• I am born and raised in Cedar Rapids, but have traveled all around the world.  I have moved and relocated four times so I know what it's like to pack up your "life" and move to another city.
• My philosophy of life is to "Get By Giving."  In other words, the more I give of my time, efforts, and money, the more I'll get back.  It's a simple philosophy but one that has never failed me in my personal life, spiritual life, and business life.
• I am a person of my word.  My father, Al Smith raised his sons and daughters to respect each other and have integrity in everything you do.  My father is a man of his word, and so it is only natural for his sons and daughters to live their lives by this code of ethics.
• I am a former professional educator.  I taught elementary school for twelve years so if I'm an expert in anything at all, it's working with dozens of families each and every year, making sure that benchmarks are set and goals are met.  A big part of who I am as a Realtor is being able to teach and educate buyers and sellers in the process.  That's why my website is set up the way it is.
• I always strive to make my clients #1 goal, my #1 goal.
• Each and every day I live up to my standards, despite temptations to lower them.
• I am always willing to work towards a common good.  I will always do what I say I will do, sometimes more, just never less. 

You will find that a lot of Realtors just simply aren't willing to share who they are and why they are in the business they are in.  Eighty percent of my business is derived from receiving inquiries from my website.  It is no accident that this happens.  Please allow me to earn your trust and respect as your real estate agent for your next transaction, whether it be buying or selling.  I appreciate you taking the time to read this information about your Cedar Rapid's Realtor.
