You Know About the Four C's of Buying a Diamond, But I Bet You Didn't Know About My Six C's...
Ah yes, the six C's of Selling Your Home. What, you haven't heard of them yet. Well, sit down, lend an ear, and educate yourselves and prepare your home for salability!
Curb Appeal - How does your property look from the curb? If potential buyers love the looks of the house from the curb, they become excited to see it and they will call me for an appointment.
Clutter - Eliminate it everywhere: closets, garages, attics, each room, yard, etc. If they see it, they might not be able to SEE the benefits.
Clean - Everywhere and everything! People VALUE cleanliness, in what they see, smell, and touch.
Character & Charm - What makes your property special? It's the little touches of decorating such as flower arrangements in a room and a fire in the fireplace can all contribute to a special feeling. The four hundred and eleven piece toy train collection probably doesn't do it.
Critique your home objectively - How does it compare to others in the area? What are your property's strengths and potential weaknesses? Highlight the benefits of your home on a home feature sheet and compare it to your agent's scientifically prepared comparative market analysis.
Cost Vs. Value - Spend money in the right places and on the right items to get your home "market ready." The best to accomplish this is to obtain a free, no obligation pre-listing consultation.
