Traditions Real Estate: Identify Yourself!

The other evening, I was online and I had just installed my new chat feature.  This feature lets users who visit my website that I am available to answer any questions.  All of a sudden, I received this sound I've never heard before.  It was the sound of "Hey you, someone is online and has a question to ask you." 

As I started a dialogue with this individual, one of the questions asked was "Who is Traditions Real Estate."  As I typed back an answer to this individual, it dawned on me, "What a great idea for a blog post."  So here goes: Traditions Real Estate: IDENTIFY YOURSELF!

TRADITIONS REAL ESTATE IS:

  • One of the few real estate companies with the Christian philosophy of paying it forward, get by giving, and I am third.  If all of these concepts are foreign to you, please read on!
  • The Get By Giving philosophy is basically, 'The more you give of yourself, your time, your efforts, and your money, the more returns you receive.'  In other words, it comes back to you!
  • Paying it forward means that Traditions Real Estate invests heavily on the front end of buyer and seller transactions so that you become a customer and friend for life.  Our SERVICES cannot be duplicated by other real estate brokerages or Realtors, period.  Why?  Because it takes too much time, effort, and money to do the things we do.  For example, we use state of the art high resolution wide angle lens cameras for our photo shoots.  We offer 24-36 photos per listing where the others barely offer 8 photos.  We offer virtual video tours, where knowone else even messes with it because it's too costly and time consuming.  We offer page one exposure on www.google.com for the key search phrase "Cedar Rapids Real Estate."  No other local Realtor or Brokerage can even come close to offering "Viral Exposure" of your listing like we can.
  • I am Third:  Our faith is first.  It's our navigational compass and it guides us in our directions, plain and simple, our friends and family are second, and we are third; nuff said!
  • Our beloved broker Matt Smith is not only a wonderful boss, but he is an outstanding husband and father to his lovely children.  Being there for your family is more important than anything.  He has over 18 years of experience in Cedar Rapids Real Estate.  Matt's philosophy on real estate is simple.  Provide the end user (that's you silly) with the most complete and comprehensive service package available in real estate today, so that you not only remember our services, but you recommend them highly to everyone you talk to.  Matt and I talk about the Full Service Gas Station analogy a lot.  When you pulled up your car, everything under the hood was serviced, not just the gasoline.  We as Realtors of Traditions Real Estate are not satisfied until we have checked everything under the hood and you drive away with a smile on your face.
  • As mentioned earlier, our Internet marketing services cannot be duplicated by any other Realtor or Brokerage in town period!  Over 75% of searches for "Cedar Rapids Real Estate" come by way of www.google.com.  You cannot pay someone to be on the first page of Google for any key search phrase.  Like the old investment commercial used to say, "You have to EARRRNNN it."  Imagine having your listing seen by hundreds of "potential customers" each day, because you are one of the FEATURED LISTINGS on my website: www.christophersmithrealtor.com.   What are the chances that one of those "potential customers" might actually turn into a buyer?
  • Traditions Real Estate actively BLOGS about our business, our philosophy, our heavy emphasis on SERVICE, and of course our listings.   When our blogs are sent out into cyberspace, they reach literally hundreds and thousands of readers.  This VIRAL EXPOSURE of your property will sell listing faster and for more of the asking price.  The sale of your house can be accomplished by doing two things well: pricing and exposure of your property to as many "potential buyers" as possible.
  • Knowone in town does a Comparable Market Analysis like Matt Smith and Traditions Real Estate.  We price your house to sell based on what the buyer is willing to pay in today's active market place.  We will not price your house to sit on the market for six months.  That's called over-pricing.  We will end up not getting some listings because we are honest with the sellers regarding what their home should be listed at in order to sell.  That's okay with us, one of our principles is honesty and we will walk away from a listing with that in tact.
  • Traditions Real Estate is a full service brokerage and offers flexible commission plans starting at 5% - 7%.  Our 5% plan first of all, saves you (potentially) thousands of dollars in commission fees at closing.  Second, our 5% plan of marketing your home beats most of the competition that offers to list your home for 7%.

  • If you interview other Realtors/Brokerages for the job of marketing and selling your home, have our Menu of Services page printed out and handy.  Ask the Realtors of the big companies that charge you 7% if they take 36 color, high res, wide angle lens photographs, advertise on over 100 Real Estate affiliate websites locally, regionally, and nationally.  Ask them if they write blogs about their listings, offer video virtual tours, audio tours, 1-800-CALL-CAPTURE signs, etc.  Ask them if they go door to door to "feeder neighborhoods" and in the neighborhood to active solicit buyer interest.  All we are saying here is make the comparisons for yourself.

Who is at the heart of the company whose marketing and selling your home?  Do you know who they are and what they stand for in business and in life?  Do you ensure that what they promise you for 7% is what they actually deliver?  Does your Realtor/Brokerage work for the money or for you?
