My Head is Much To Large To Fit On Any Cedar Rapids Billboards, But My Service Is Not!
Ah yes; spring time! The arrival of a brownish colored landscape that will soon yield a green carpet of grass moving forward into the summer time! The snow has melted, and the trees are showing tiny buds which will soon blossom into flowers and green leaves. Billboards plastered over the Cedar Rapids landscape have oversized melons promising to meet "all of your real estate needs."
Answer a question for me! Does the presence of an attractive, blonde real estate agent (sorry to stereotype here but 4 out of 5 billboards are currently of the blonde, female persuasion) coax you into contacting this person for "all" of your real estate needs? Let me answer this question for you. Emphatically, NO!
Please, before you label my actions somewhat discriminatory, let me preface by saying that these real estate agents in question are probably very professional, and very well adept at handling "all" of your real estate wants and needs. That's not my issue with this at all. My issue is, are they selling themselves or their services to you? Make no mistake; egos are highly prevalent in the real estate field. Picture the highly polished agent in Armani suit and tie positioning his right thumb and pinky on his ear and mouth (you know, the overdone resemblance of a phone) just begging you to flip open your cell phone and call 1-800-JUST-SOLD or 1-800-UBER-AGENT.
What if the billboard offered services unparalleled with any other brokerage or real estate agent!
What if a billboard offered 100% viral online exposure of your house!
What if the advertisement promised that your house would be viewed by more "potential buyers" than any other brokerage/real estate agent combined!
What if it promised a seller that there are currently over 100 qualified buyers in our database looking for the home you just listed!
What if that billboard promised buyers a complete walkthrough of the buying process from A-Z and beyond the sale!
What if it said that a certain real estate company will meet and exceed your expectations for marketing your home or you can fire them within a seven day period!
Hmm, I wonder if such a real estate company exists amongst the Cedar Rapids real estate landscape? "Success in real estate at the SERVICE of others" is his motto! I wonder if he really means it! Only one way to find out!
